Charmaine Monte is the Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) County Coordinator for the Stanislaus County Office of Education. Ms. Monte coordinates 3 TUPE grants and oversees programs at 87 different school sites in the county. She has over 23 years of experience working with youth, and is co-creator of the PHAST Youth Coalition. Ms. Monte has extensive knowledge of positive youth development practices, resiliency skills building and school and community based prevention programs. Ms. Monte is a long time member of the Stanislaus County Behavior Health Board. She served on the Tobacco Prevention Toolkit project state advisory group. Charmaine holds a Bachelor degree in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Anthropology, Sociology and Political Science from the California State University, Stanislaus.
